Digene was our keynote speaker at our annual luncheon to raise funds for the Child Abuse Assessment Team at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.  In a room full of 400 people, you could have heard a pin drop during her presentation.  Her painful story of childhood abuse is told with grace and composure.  Most importantly she conveys hope for recovery and healing to abuse survivors.  What she has accomplished in her life is truly inspiring, and that she is willing to share her story so that we may someday eliminate child abuse from our society is heroic.

Digene was absolutely fabulous-she expertly encapsulated these critical issues that our nation is facing and did it in such as uplifting and positive way.
